Tuesday 12th December 7:30pm South Devon Storytellers For South Devon Storyteller’s continued exploration into Trickster mischief, I will tell the tales of Robin Goodfellow! His mad pranks and merry jests! Britains own trickster spirit, born of a mortal mother and faerie father (King Oberon no less)… the tales of Robin Goodfellow have been told for over 500 years, inspired Shakespeare’s Puck and captured hearts and imaginations across the world. Expect frolicking faeries, medieval romps, and some curious antics that seem to embody a huge array of Britain’s Faerie lore. The story will be roughly 45 minutes long, leading to a break, after which the floor will open for shorter stories - the ever optional theme is ‘MERRY’! All welcome to listen or tell a tale! Join us on Sunday 22nd June for ‘Entwined Tales: A Story for the Summer Solstice’ a creative collaboration with Playground Arts. Tales Entwined is an adaption of the much loved children’s book ‘Root Children’ by Sibylle von Olfers.
